Everybody Can Sing: A singing class for shy and non-singers
Mondays, Jan. 10th-Feb. 28th, (8 weeks) 5:30PM-6:30PM, $68.00
There is an African proverb that goes: “If you can walk you can dance, if you can talk you can sing.” This class will help you find or reclaim your singing voice in a fun and non-threatening atmosphere. Ages 14-adult
I grew up in rural Southwest Virginia in a little community called Emory. I have always loved music and making things. I am a retired elementary music teacher and currently enjoy teaching private music lessons, leading community singing and creating interactive music exhibits in my music garden. I hope to share these creations with the larger community.

We Are the World
This is old, but the message is timeless. Each of us makes a difference. Thanks to Carolyn Z. for sending me the link. It is neat to see and hear all of the singers as they add their unique voice to the communal sound. I think my favorite is Cyndi Lauper. Can it really be 25 years ago?
